  • WWE.com: John Cena vows he’s done kissing AJ Lee! November 28th
Posted by Christen on November 28th | 1 Comments | Filed under WWE Articles

For two weeks in a row, John Cena has shared passionate kisses with AJ Lee in the ring on Raw. In hindsight on Tuesday, @JohnCena apologized on Twitter for his actions:

@JohnCena: Many mixed opinions of a kiss last night. My apologies, my emotions got the best of me and 1moment overshadowed a gr8 match. Never again.

@JohnCena: I will do my best to keep my personal life…personal. #10yearsstrong

Certainly, the Cenation leader isn’t the first Superstar to share a kiss with a fellow Superstar. And sometimes when passions run high, things go beyond just kissing! Anyone remember the controversy surrounding the Edge, Lita and Matt Hardy love triangle? Or the live ring “celebration” between Edge and Lita? Things done in the heat of the moment can often result in regret that Cena is now experiencing. But on the other hand, the initial chemistry between two people can also lead to relationships that last a lifetime. Does the legendary McMahon-Helmsley Era ring a bell? Sports-entertainment would not be the same without it. Is Cena truly done letting his emotions get the better of him? What will happen next between the Cenation leader and AJ Lee?

WWE.Com: Do John Cena’s relationships leave him the most vulnerable? November 27th
Posted by Christen on November 27th | 0 Comments | Filed under WWE Articles

John Cena rests alone atop the mountain of WWE, a Superstar who has made himself indestructible by virtue of – if nothing else – his self-imposed isolation. Superman needed a whole hideout to achieve seclusion, but for all his jolly camaraderie with the WWE Universe, Cena is a Fortress of Solitude unto himself. He has no allies, no attachments, no baggage and, as a result, very few losses to his name in both wrestling matches and personal rivalries. The only way to defeat Cena is to beat him straight up, and that is a task few Superstars find themselves equal to. Now, when Cena gets himself a friend or his family members become targets? That’s when the problems start for the big guy.

John Cena may not have a Ph.D. in hip hop, but the 12-time World Title holder has displayed a degree in lyrical mastery that has impressed music mavens and grappling fans alike. But even The Doctor of Thuganomics’ rapping roots include an early lesson learned in the school of hard knocks.

Still an up-and-coming competitor in 2002, Cena looked to make a positive impression on Stephanie McMahon during the Halloween edition of SmackDown by introducing his ability to lay down some original rhymes. His flow felt fine, but the outfit he wore just hurt Cena’s street cred at a time where he had yet to adopt throwback jerseys and a padlock chain as his signature look.

Instead, Cena rapped while donning a costume and bouffant hairstyle in the spirit of early 1990s rapper Vanilla Ice. Cena shed the look for his Thuganomics persona in the weeks that followed, learning a valuable lesson early as to why no one should ever adopt the look of the guy who sang “Ice Ice Baby” and “Ninja Rap.”

#4 John Cena: Whether you chant “Let’s go Cena!” or “Cena sucks!” one thing about John Cena remains absolutely certain: He is unwavering in his moral standing and does not let the polarized opinions of the WWE Universe prevent him from doing what he feels is right. The Cenation leader fits the mold of superhero; he believes in fighting for the greater good and often puts himself before others. The 10-time WWE Champion wears his creed of “hustle, loyalty and respect” on his sleeve and it has led him to victory over wicked rivals like Randy Orton, Kane and Batista.

Outside of the squared circle, the Cenation leader remains a leading example of a noble celebrity and has granted more than 300 wishes for Circle of Champions and Make-A-Wish. Love him or hate him, John Cena may not be the hero the WWE Universe needs, but he is the hero they deserve. — K.P.

    Classic Factions Reborn September 25th
Posted by Christen on September 25th | 0 Comments | Filed under WWE Articles

Who could possibly comprise the modern incarnation of the most notorious faction of all time? It would take a major betrayal of the WWE Universe akin to Hulk Hogan’s original collusion with Scott Hall and Kevin Nash. The only Superstar capable of such an impactful move would be none other than John Cena. When Hogan deceived WCW, he was as polarized as Cena. Some still loved the classic red and yellow, others were tired of it. Judging by Cena’s reactions in various arenas all over the country, the same can be said for his creed of “hustle, loyalty and respect.” The Cenation leader could eventually just have his fill of “Cena sucks” chants, grab a can of black spray-paint and really give the WWE Universe something to “boo” about.

To maximize their initial impact, the 21st century New World Order would need a strong base, similar to Hogan and The Outsiders. Both Hall and Nash were loved and hated by fans based on what served their needs. Well-rounded veterans, The Outsiders did whatever they needed to ensure their own success. Given the pasts of both Randy Orton and Christian, joining John Cena in The nWo would give them each an edge over other seasoned veterans in WWE. Of course, Big Show is the only member of the original New World Order still in active competition. When the black-and-white–clad faction reformed in WWE in 2002, The World’s Largest Athlete once again donned the colors and there’s nothing to stop him from doing it again, after all, “When you’re nWo, you’re nWo 4-Life.”

With four major Superstars taking charge, The nWo would inevitably expand its ranks. To keep its legacy intact, The New World Order’s recruitment efforts would focus on Michael McGillicutty and the fact that his father, Curt Hennig, was a member of the faction. Wearing the black and white with promises of achieving greater success than his Hall of Fame father would only elevate McGillicutty to championship contention. To stave off any legal troubles they might encounter, The New World Order would need to look no further than David Otunga. A powerful and rising competitor, Otunga’s legal expertise — as well as his celebrity — makes him the perfect addition to The nWo.

Finally, The New World Order needs a loud and obnoxious mouthpiece. This is someone who doesn’t mince words and, no matter what, always skews in favor of the black and white. The original group had WCW President Eric Bischoff, but Cena and his colleagues need to look no further than the announce table for Michael Cole. Now that’s an alliance that’s just too sweet.

The 20 most impressive physiques in WWE history September 25th

#2 John Cena: In terms of physical strength, there is no WWE Superstar more impressive than John Cena. The Cenation leader’s physique is also one of the most impressive in WWE history, a trait he began building years before entering WWE. Before becoming a WWE Superstar, Cena was an NCAA Division III All-American center for the Springfield College football team.

While attending Springfield, Cena pursued his passion for physical fitness by majoring in exercise physiology. After graduation, Cena continued his dedication toward physical perfection by pursuing a career as a bodybuilder. However, the Cenation leader shifted gears to become a WWE Superstar. Judging by his physical prowess and strength, though, he has never left the weight room
